The Regroupement des organismes ESPACE du Québec (ROEQ) is a group of organizations working to prevent violence against children. The ROEQ implements the appropriate processes to protect the personal information of anyone who contacts us.
What personal information does the ROEQ collect?
As part of our activities, we collect the following personal information, as required:
- Your contact information, including: name, address, email and phone number
- Your banking information
- Your employment or education history
Why does the ROEQ collect personal information and for what use?
The ROEQ collects your personal information for the following purposes only:
- To identify you and create your ROEQ membership
- To communicate with you
- To bill you or collect and deposit payments that may be due
- As part of a hiring or internship process
Who does the ROEQ communicate your personal information with?

As a general rule, the ROEQ collects your personal information directly from you, with your consent, unless an exception is provided for by law. The ROEQ may also collect your personal information from third parties without your consent, but only in certain situations provided for by law.
How does the ROEQ collect your personal information?
The ROEQ collects your personal information in person, by phone, by mail, by email, or when you fill out a form or communicate with us electronically (email, Messenger, Facebook).
On the website, the ROEQ may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, the duration of visits to certain pages, information on interaction between pages and the methods used to navigate away from the page.
How long does the ROEQ keep your personal information?
The ROEQ retains your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes set out above and to comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
What are your rights?
You have the right to request access to or rectification of inaccurate information about yourself. You also have the right to request the deletion, destruction or removal of your personal information, except that which is necessary for the operation of the ROEQ.
